Description

Henrique is absolutely worth a 1st with retention for two years. Cap is obviously not an issue for them this or next year and can flip Smith with or without retention for a mid-late round pick to a contender. Gives the Bruins more flexibility within their top-9 and can be a nice complementary top-6 center next year if Bergy and Krejci leave.

I dont see Schenn getting a 2nd as many others think on this site. He is a useful, but fairly one-dimensional defenseman that can give you 15ish hard minutes a night. In comparison, I can give about 30 seconds hard a night😉. I've always liked Zboril's game, but he just needs to play and would get decent minutes in Vancouver.

Henrique for the first is fair, especially since Foligno expires and you may lose Krejci, and because we're sports, we'll take the two cap dumps off your hands, but why are we paying for them?

Boston is going to likely have to shed 6-8m in cap space just to sign their guys and fill the roster out with kids. Every $1 brought in with term just adds to how much they have to shed. I don’t see them adding term players other possibly Chychrun or guys with small contracts like Lafferty or Jeannot.
