The rumored asking prices for all of these players is looney tunes.

Habs want 1st plus prospect for Anderson without retention. So, 2023 1st and Mukhamadullin.

Sharks want three elite pieces for Meier (ie, Hughes, Nemec, Holtz) and we will have to pay him $9.5 million or more a year.

Just don’t bother with either.

Include another semi valuable piece like Shakir and a conditional 1st whether or not Meier re-signs. If I were the Devils I'd want to part with Holtz+Shakir for something like this, they have the prospect bank already to part with them. From face value this looks fair but you know the Sharks are gonna want more, plus player types that perform as well as Meier are becoming increasingly rare with the league getting smaller

1st or no Gavrikov. Johnsson is only a cap dump, not value, and that 1st+3rd price we've been working with might actually be going up (the last we heard Kekalainen's now asking for a 4th as well).
