Description

Sure NJD won't do this for Nylander nor would Dubas but they should. Nylander will love playing with Hughes NJD pays less to aquire will cost same AVV when re-signed.
Sure NJD can offer more for Meier but they won't and Meier will come in less than his 10 mil Q/O on an 8 Yr extension.
St. Louis doesn't need Kerfoot but with retention they will get a 2nd round pick from a playoff team plus a mighty mouse from T.O.

He would if Devils where to move him but they won't as they want to make a playoff run. Holl would get a 2nd as a rental but To won't move him for same reason. Holl is 2nd pair in To same would be Severson. Severson 3rd pairing in Nj as would be Holl. Its more to even out cap for NJ

Nylander is a fine player...but if we are swinging a big deal, its probably for someone with more than 1.5 years left.

Maybe something in off-season when he could be extended.

This is a very bad value package, it's not up to 23 2nd + standards. And nobody is going to trade arguably the most chased man at the TDL for more work to maybe get back a 2nd.
