As a Leafs fan, I’d do the Preds trade today but I would think Nino gets a better return than that. The fact that he plays both a coveted position (winger with size) and has another year (at a somewhat reasonable aav) makes him in demand.

The only piece of much value to NSH in the Ekholm trade is the 1st, and it's not until 2024. I think NSH can do better than that.

The Fabbro trade seems to be his consensus value on these boards. I haven't watched Thomson enough to have an informed opinion on him, but like @EvanderKanesLawyer I'd shoot for a 2023 pick here too.

The Niederreiter proposal is just terrible. A 3rd, an ultra long shot prospect, and a cap dump? There's no reason to sell him off, if NSH isn't getting anything worthwhile for him.
