If leafs get Meier they'll need to trade Murray.
Not sure what that deal would look like but Kyle has made more difficult cap dumps and I think he's fine with departing with whatever it takes even if it's a higher cost than expected.

I also think it makes sense to package Robertson and Sandin for a young cost controled asset. The Söderblom trade represents that idea. Not sure how likely that specific trade is but it works for the leafs. If not Söderblom, go after a different player.
Need to consolidate assets to get a forward who can contribute instantly, while not costing a lot, with potential upside.


Englund has really positive results considering he starts all of his shifts in the dzone. Could be a sneaky good signing. Either way, with the Leafs current mix of D, they need a solid stay at home sort of guy at a low price point.
