Doubt the Leafs have any interest in Hoffman. His 5on5 numbers have always been terrible and the Leafs don't have a PP spot for him on the 1st unit who gets the overwhelming amount of ice time. He wouldn't have a role on the team and its hard to pay a guy without a role 4 mil. He's just a bad fit for the Leafs.

Like I said in your trade machine proposal, this is not the time to be spending assets on a 29 yo D man. As much as I like Parayko, we need to be closer to a contending team to make this type of move, especially while Savard and Matheson are still here. As our Blues counterparts have said though, the value isn't there for them either. I just don't see where we are good trade partners right now.
