Ask was Mercer according to a few sources. Not sure Devils move him but word is they didn’t say no. I believe the same source said the whole ask was Mercer, Nemec and a 1st but that’s not confirmed. That seems far off. I don’t see them moving Mercer especially in that package. I think if it’s 1st and Nemec it’s a smaller roster piece like maybe Zetterlund or McLeod.

The longer it goes on I’m not sure the devils will be willing to give up what it takes to win the arms race for Meier.
