Unfortunately, I don't think any team accepts an offer there. Especially Crouse for Kapanen. Kapanen should be on the waiver wire. He has no value.

Vancouver will get a nice return for Schenn.

You should relabel this as "If the Pens go all in and the other teams cant say no".

These are all pretty PIT weighted, but my favourite ridiculous one is Jeff carter and a 2025 5th for Scott Laughton and a 2024 4th.

i know that Anderson contract is bad but i do think that Rust is even more of a bad contract.

Can I ask how so? Rust is 375K less AAV for 1 more year and is a better player.

He is 2 year older, 1 more year of contract, haven't played a full season of his carrer, and they are the same salary (375k is nothing here)
i don't think anderson have a good contract but for me Rust is the worse between the 2 but not by that much

Those are fair points. I guess it depends what position your team is in - if your MTL I can see the younger guy with slightly less term may be more attractive.

But just looking at the contracts and players side by side - I think Rust is definitely the better contract

@PensGMwannabe is 100% correct -- Why would Arizona downgrade from four more seasons of a far superior Lawson Crouse to one more season of Kasperi Kapanen?!?!?
