Description

Toews and Severson can give some leadership and defensive help. Another goalie can help keep pucks out of the net. With the addition to the top six the Sabres can have a top six that can compete with anyone.

I believe at deadline they flip Goaloffson and then bring up one of the young guys to take his spot.

They resign Dahlin for 8x9.5

Also severson isn’t signing with Buffalo unless it’s at least 7x7, and that’s not happening.

Ditto power for 6.5 he waits a year and he can sign 8x8 easily

Severson deal is good. Why wouldnt he want to sign with a team that will make the playoffs for the next 5+ years? he's not signing in NJ they don't have the cap to sign him. 7 mill is the max he'll get anywhere he could sign for less long term.

There’s also the possibility he may not want to live in Buffalo which isn’t like a totally unreasonable guess based on history?

Arizona isn't doing that trade. Severson isn't that special, especially for five years. Instead of trading for Konecky, I wonder if hometown Kane might be a good addition.
