Devils New Marty

Description
The Blues trade just feels like it would be fun, if not realistic. Mantha and Vrana on the same team, the Blues get a guy that wants to prove he still has the talent he showed earlier on an expiring deal, with a similar skill set and role as Buchnevich, plus a couple picks to help the rebuild. Malenstyn would be a good 4th liner for them, too.

Waffled between the two future 3rds and the current year Caps' 2nd. Feels about equivalent, but either/or feels fair.

Anyway, I'd rather the Caps trade Fehervary and get someone like Graves. I'm not a fan of Marty's game, so swap the rights, get a pick back for the younger player with an RFA, and get some size on the backend.

Devil's aren't giving up graves UFA rights alone for Fehervary, let alone a 3rd.

I'd rather play all of: Siegs, Hamilton, Marino, Graves*, Severson*, Hughes, Nemec, Walsh, Bahl, Smith over him. 9th best dman assuming we let the vets walk and keep walsh+bahl, 7th even if we let everyone walk, and will crack the lineup ONLY if we let them ALL leave in addition to leaving Nemec in utica

The Capitals don't really have the pieces that it would take for the Blues to be considering moving Buch.

Lol at that Blues trade. It's a player whose not worth his cap hit, a random prospects and 2 3rds for a PPG winger. It's a horrible trade for the blues

The caps are better with him off the ice than they are with him on the ice, both this year and last.

That isn’t the type of game he plays at all. He a net front, clear the net kinda of guy that lays the body and good on the forecheck. And terrific at staying with his man

Lmfao are you stupid? MF for a 3rd + a UFA you can’t afford is robbery. This would be equally stupid to us trading Stephenson for a 5th or Seig for 3rd. Holy F do some research before just saying stuff.

Dude is clearly clueless. It’s making me LOL. MF is 23 and will be playing w Jensen next year. We have no reason to trade for Graves. Waste of assets. Would rather traded AA + 2nd for Brännström. Man this a terrible trade for the Capitals

We should make an acgm together.

Go to the Season thread so we could discuss.

We can discuss options.
I love the Branny trade I made yesterday. And your laf trade with 10oa. Maybe we wouldn’t have to add McMichael but maybe another decent prospect like persson or bodan. Young talent is what we need. Keller would be huge but a player like him you think he would have same impact like sandin right away. We don’t have any time to wait for guys to get ready. Next year is one of our last years man. Not saying anything about Mieier but I don’t see a fit with the devils. Don’t want the same with Keller. Getting star players. Anyways I love Keller.
