Yes Zadorov takes penalties, but other than that I like his game. Probably won't take anything to get rid of him

Without looking into the valuations of these picks, I really like the prospect of moving up to pick #5...

plus Dvorsky is the type of player Stevey Y would like. He can play center and winger and has scoring which is something the Red Wings could use more of. Maybe instead of 17th give up veleno and a pcik but idk.

Personally I would like to select the two players you had selected for Anaheim in Detroit. Although I think I would prefer Reinbacher over SP. Really though I flip back and forth between yes and no so I feel like it's a good trade.

I think Red Wings accept.
I think they try and grab Zach Benson.
But they could also decline, since we also need RHD.

We already have three 2nds, so I'm more inclined to like this idea. Maybe give up 10oa + player (Zadina/Fabbri/Veleno) + 2nd/3rd rounder for 5oa. And with 5oa, we take anybody that falls out of the top 4 (Carlsson, etc), Will Smith, or Dvorsky. At 17 we take a dman (but realistically, Steve goes for BPA with every pick regardless of position).

I'd take a reasonable deal to move up to 5 but I can't see the ducks doing it. I'm taking Smith at 5 all day though.

Maybe.
Would definitely love to see a top line LW.

Looking at alot of the player profiles I think I would be happy with any option within those picks for the most part.

Yeas, but I mean we NEED a 1st line LW. I would also like another RW since I think a Berggren-Kasper-Raymond 2nd line would just be phenomenal all around and cover almost every drawbacks the players have. Berggren and Raymond have chemistry and are basically a playmaker-goalscoring combo. They lack defensively, but Kasper is a legit madhorse that just follows the puck everywhere.
But realistically I think our top 6 could look like (in '24)

['23 Draftee] - Larkin - Raymond
Mazur-Kasper-Berggren

Another top RHD to pair with Edvinsson on 2nd pairing would be awesome.
Walman-Seider
Edvinsson-['23 Draftee]
Maatta - Al. Johannson

(Idk what happens to Chiarot but I hope he isn't here in the future)

I would like to see that as well. Barlow would fit that 1LW slot and is a goal scorer. Bleacher report has us taking him at 10 actually and I wouldn't be sad about it. I do think we really need to focus on some RHD this draft though.

Yeas, but a lot of reports have him going late, so we could nab him @ 17.
Maybe a
Reinbacher @ 10
Barlow @ 17
Trade for a late 1st from BOS '24 and a 3rd
Dragicevic @ 25

Possibly, I see reports having pretty much the top 4-18 all over the place lol

I don't know that Verbeek would take Michkov. He like size, while he doesn't have a problem with Russians, he likes players that have played the NA game, then there is the whole issue with the war going on over there and fallout form that.

I'd need to look into him more, but it also appears he is a natural RW, would be interesting to see how well he plays the off side.

The Wings do as well, but I mean Barlow matches what Red Wings need pretty close.
A goal scoring #1 LW.

The pick values heavily favor Detroit here. #10 plus #17 is less value than #5 alone then the OP adds on two more 2nd round picks. If it was #10 / #17 / 23 2nd / 24 2nd for #5 maybe the ducks consider it.

Using this calculator, the valuations are nearly identical (10.5 vs 10.6 depending on the late 2nd is valued):

I mean everything past top 5 is a toss up in a good way. I wouldn't be surprised if Reinbacher goes to Detroit.
