If trading Lindholm, we should be trading the rest of the team as well.

Fair enough, definitely don't want to see just him go.

I was gonna say "does Calgary need a LHD?" but looking at your 1 year deals, probably.

I'd think Calgary should target another prospect instead of settling for Fabbri, tbh.

I don't think I would do the deal as Detroit. Too keep Lindholm is going to cost us 8-9M I would expect. He's an absolute beast of a player and would love to have him on the team but he doesn't make sense for it timeline. He will probably be close to 31 when we are competitive and no guarantee he keeps his play up as he gets older. Wallinder is also a beast of a prospect, not trading him.
The value is actually fair though I just don't think it works for us. I'll likely be one of the only Detroit fans who thinks this.

If Calgary needs cap room better off trading Mangiapane and/or Coleman and/or Backlund.
Besides Sutter will never play the kids anyway.

While i think it's an extremely fair offer, I don't see Yzerman trading Wallinder he's extremely high on him he's going to be a solid top 4 LD who's going to put up quite a bit of points. Like both Edvinsson and Seider. Plus Lindholm will cost us between $8-9 mil to sign. Right now we need elite scorers our D, Goaltening and Center depth should be fine. We need wingers who can score at will.

Swap Wallinder with Johansson (who is also a GREAT prospect and NHL ready) and you got a deal, I'll even add a 2023 2nd for your troubles, just can't part with Wallinder...

I think we need to attach the Johansson hype train to Wallinder's hype train. GRG's coach blows and I assume that impacted Johansson heavily.

I think very highly of Johansson and he may even turn out to be better than Wallinder, I am just all in Wallinder and think he's going to be an absolute monster, like Hedman level...

I'm excited for both.
Wallinder Hedman level seems crazy, but we'll see we'll see. I'm high on both of them.

Is Wallinder really that good? Don't hear about a ton on the west coast but I love to hear a good Stevie Y draft steal or diamond in the rough prospect

Wallinder is a fantastic prospect. Lead all U21 skaters in points and was also logging 20+ minutes as Rogle's #1 D-man.
Comparing his point total to Seider's doesn't really tell the whole story since Seider's defensive game was supposed to be his main feat, whereas Wallinder's is his puck carrying ability. But yes I definitely forsee him as a very very good NHLer. Hedman levels? Will have to see.

If you know about Edvinsson's profile of "Crazy High Ceiling but a lot of work to do", then you now know Wallinder's profile, but lower ceiling.

I don't know if the ceiling is really lower for Wallinder, his IQ is off the charts and that can be more responsible for a player blowing up, than natural ability... now Edvinsson is no slouch on hockey IQ either, but from everything I've read, Wallinder's is off the charts

Unfortunately outside of Edvinsson, I don't think Andersson is available.

What are Johansson's strengths and weaknesses? What's the probability of being a top 4 Dman?

Very good skater, fantastic vision and high hockey IQ. Has sneaky good hands and is strong in tight areas. I have no doubt he has the potential to be top 4 in the NHL.
