Habs fans don't massively overvalue any player they currently own the rights to challenge (impossible)

Finally, someone understands that most Habs fans have been right time and again about their players values (Chiarot, Lehkonen, Toffoli, Romanov... the list goes on and on)

Non Habs fans thinking everyone on the Habs isnt total garbage challenge (Impossible)

Xhekaj is a 7th dman on a HORRIBLE defensive team. On most teams he'd be an AHLer rn

Notice how I shut up Windjammer with the simple fact that Mesar is already in NA and has the same value as Lambert and Perfetti has no value cause he is also injured! ROFLMA guy just can't get enough of being wrong!!!

Sounds like what people were saying about Romanov and Chiarot

Still waiting on all those first round picks the habs were gonna get for Anderson, Edmundson, Dvorak, Monahan Allen etc etc this deadline. Wait I'm being informed nobody wanted them and all you got was Denis Gurianov. Damn

Were they traded and no one saw? Hmm kind of hard to say they do or don't return that value until they are actually moved, until then no one is right or wrong it's just speculation.

Edit*** Again you are wrong, there were offers of a 1st + from some teams for Anderson but Hughes decided not to move him

Romanov had significantly better metrics.

Eddy was injured, Monahan already got us a 1st and he was injured. No one ever asked for a 1st for Allen and Dvo. And a 1st has already been rejected for Andy. And the 7th pick for Andy and 26th was almost done but Debrincat happened

And Chiarot has worst metrics, on a better team and then resigned for 4.75 million by apparently a genius in Yzerman

No one thought Romanov was worth the 13th pick, or Chiarot a unprotected 1st but they happened. And its reported that the Jackets are willing to move that pick (24th overall)

yeah willing to move for a TOP 4 defender, not bottom pair dman tears of joy

You do realize the Habs can outright force the jets to trade to them with a very easy offersheet which Dubois would sign and get extended right after

I’d be careful about that. Drop a low offer like the 3rd rounder range and I can’t imagine the Jets owner would be all that pleased. Starting an offer sheet war with one of the richest men in sports may not be a wise idea.
But I’m all seriousness, what are the chances of Montreal offersheeting at all? And if they did, I can’t imagine PLD signing one that is worth a 3rd as it would risk his long term earnings if he got hurt. And Hughes isn’t risking losing a potential lotto pick next year
I would imagine PLD is moved just prior or at the draft to Montreal and barring that happening, is moved shortly thereafter to a team he would be open to extending with.

Sure, if you're offering a minimum of Montreal's unprotected 24 1st, 2nd and 3rd for the OS, Winnipeg will gladly take it. That's far better than this offer.

Although, PLD is likely traded and extended at the draft, so an OS won't work.

one singular bad decision doesn't set a market. Xhekaj isn't trusted enough to play more than 15 minutes a night on an AWFUL defensive team riddled with injuries

habs have 0 motivation to sell so low on kovacevic. A reliable, super cheap 3rd pairing RD. Wideman takes a one way trip to laval before that deal happens.

Not only that, he is signed for two more years at low cost... Montreal could nearly obtain Ross Colton with this package...
