Canucks decline. Better and cheaper options for both positions in free agency.

Canucks decline. Don’t have the cap space or need for either player.

MTL doesn't need to sell low on Dvorak, Edmundson or Allen. They don't need the cap space before 2025. Better wait for 24/25 TDL to trade them.

Habs should try to keep FLA 2023 1st and trade CGY 24/25 + Beck for PLD. Anyway, i don't think any team will offer a 2023 1st for PLD.

Hawks got paid a 2nd and 4th for a similar cap, albeit a few months extra because it was at the TDL.

I know Hoff is better but really what value would he hold to CHI and why Would CHI willingly just take this on?

why wouldn’t they? It seems like a no brainer to take on a pending UFA who isn’t even that bad to gain an asset.

CHI declines.

Why would Chicago decline that? Hoffman isn’t bad, just a bad deal and they can afford that for 1 year. They get an asset for essentially free.

In free agency? I’m sorry but after the last couple of years do you really think big free agents are going to sign in Vancouver?

Well buddy the ideas are right and we will likely trade all of those players... Allen will have to wait for training camp though because primeau is going to have to show management that he is ready .. Maybe he will show that in the playoffs with laval if they make it otherwise they wait till training camp is over and move whoever doesnt perform.. but we wont be traded both of them. Dvorak only gets traded if dubois comes or if Beck makes the team out of training camp.. otherwise dvorak might get moved at the deadline. I dont think we will get dubois for just a pick but only time will tell.. and of course edmundson and Hoffman will get traded with retained salary but you will never get people on here to admit it will be to their team... Hoffman likely is chicago and edmundson could be alot of teams.. He fought in the last game of the season so the back must be better eh?

honestly we dont need that buffalo goalie.. We will draft our own this year and we have some developing and next year training camp primeau and allen battle it out and the loser is gone.. you then need to sign another goalie for a back up in laval

Because a 4th isn't enough.

5m reasons I would think.

Without a valuable asset, this has no benefit for CHI. A 4th is not enough value. Would need to start with a 2nd.
