    Boeser, Myers, 3rd in 23, 4th in 23

    for

    McBain, 2nd in 23, 5th in 23, 2nd in 24

Simplify the picks, I'd do Boeser, Myers for McBain, 2nd in 23

Think pens would rather Buyout Granlund than give away those picks. Picks could better go towards trading for a player.

Simplify the Nucks trade but yea we’d do that, but if we trade Myers’s after July 1 he’s just a signing bonus so I think it would probably be this

I’m starting to think more and more of this being a possibility that we do indeed buy him out

offer him a 7x5 and that’s the same compensation this way I was able to just change the picks a bit no way Boston is able to match that deal

Hawks decline. Pick #12 isn't worth all that. Take out Murphy and Hawks probably do it.

Also, no chance AZ adds all this added salary. They are playing in a 5000 seat arena. They're going stay as close to the cap floor as possible.

None of the trades make sense. Why trade a guy developing into a great bottom six center for a winger who wants big money? Why trade Ottawa's pick for a pick near 30 and a defenseman? Why would Boston trade Swayman away and why would Arizona trade for Swayman when they have Ingram, Vejmelka, and Prosvetov? Why trade for Provorov when he's had negative press around him? The team doesn't need more of that. And why take Myers contract without getting at least a 2nd?

They'd 100% match and just move Ullmark lol

Let's say for a moment though that Boston wouldn't match a 7x5 OS. Why would they straight trade him to ARZ for picks (also allowing ARZ to sign him to 8yrs). The picks your offering are like mid to late round. An OS would require ARZ to have to give up their own picks, which are historically early round. Now lets throw this wrinkle in. Why Swayman want to commit to ARZ for 8yrs? He'd be going from a team that just put up 65 wins to a team that's needed nearly 3 seasons to match that. Swayman has posted top 10 numbers since joining the league and he's only 24yr old. With the cap expected to see significant jumps in the next few years he's 100% leaving money on the table by committing to an 8yr deal at $5 million per right now. He's better off taking a 2-3 year, continuing to build his resume as one of the top 10 goalies in the NHL and then cash in BIG when the cap starts to climb.
