If you can convince Seth Jones to live in Canada and OEL to go to Chicago.... Maybe.

Going to have to send Caleb along too.

Hawks probably resign Kurashev, Jones and Soderblom, so that much is accurate at least. Rest of this is pure fantasy.

I wouldn't mind letting Caleb walk. I've seen enough of his aggressive play that unfortunately leaves for opponents open for odd man rushes.

Totally agree with this 100%. Just have a feeling he's around one more season. Hopefully as the 7th D behind Vlasic, Phillips and Tinordi

He has about 3 or 4 stupid blunders a game and then has one play that makes everyone forget about the blunders. He's fine to have around until he blocks the path for better prospects. Depends on who signs or winds up competing for the spots

Haha def not. Any way you can get out from that Jones contract will be of benefit. This is the steal of the century if the Canucks would be dumb enough to do it.

That Jones trade is awful and doesn't help CHI in the least bit. Also, keep Bertuzzi and his anti-vax bologna away from CHI.

That is a ridiculous statement. No one is trying to "get out from that Jones contract". The only problems I see with him are, he is a million or two overpaid, and Bowman gave up way too much acquiring him. But that is all over and done with, and we can't change it. He is still a bonafide #1 dman and at the very least is a good leader and a calming presence for the rebuild.

He's not a no.1 dman at all. In fact he should probably make about 3 mil a yr based on his performance. So he's basically 6 mil overpaid and he should be regressing each yr for the next 7. The contract is terrible and at best it is tolerable in the next few yrs. After that it will be an anchor. Problem with that is the Hawks are rebuilding and itll take 4 yrs. When they wanna compete again is when his contract will be so destructive. OEL is a calm guy too if thats what you like.

He will only get better as the team improves and hopefully he gets a legit D partner soon.
