None of those trades get made, those are massive overvaluations of the players being traded out.

depending on the direction the new gm takes pens might decline...even tho the value is def there. A mid prospect and a first seems like a good price. maybe ottawa for bernard-docker and a first i can see that

The Hawks trade is fair. Helps the Hawks get to cap floor. Players make sense. Contract duration makes sense. But Hawks are really deep at LD. I'm not sure how much Reilly can play his off side or how much D-sidedness even matters.

Raddysh is that cheap contract for a productive player that can land a first by itself Hawks are not doing this trade. Reilly clogs up a bottom oairung LHD spot we need to be rotating kids through to both see what we have and let them develop.

Jackets decline. We can get a better return for Roslovic especially if 50% retained.

There’s no way Swayman signs that contract. He might take the $$$ on a 1-2 year deal but he’s not signing away 8 years off his career for that little.

I don't think PIT does that trade. Their problems are more complicated than just goaltending. Also, Ullmark is a great G, but his success has a lot to do with BOS's defensive game. I don't think a 2023 14th overall pick is going anywhere for a goaltender, unless PIT is getting more value out of it, like dumping Granlund and his cap hit, for instance. I think the CHI trade favors BOS, and that likely only moves us up 6 spots not 10, but for the sake of the rebuild and getting to the cap floor, this would check both those boxes and give us a 14th overall pick. If TBL goes to the eastern conference final, I could see the value being more balanced, that or make it one of our earlier 2nd round picks.

Hawks engage in talks, but I think it takes more. Gotta feel a little bad for Taylor Hall at this point. Seems like he's likely traded this offseason.
