Petry for Olofsson is fair imo, but I can see a pick being added... definitely not a first tho

Hard pass from AZ. No reason to move on from two young rising players for a cap dump goalie that has no real value and what will likely be a mid 1st round pick 3 years out.

Not the biggest fan of aggressively dumping Petry to save 1.5mil and then give Dumba 5mil. Kind of defeats the purpose of the dump imo.

Carter obviously blocks - and Pens say no to the Wild trade. Bunting will get a good bit more I'd think too

Rutta is the right kind of defenseman that the Ducks need for the gap at 2LD, but we need someone who can play 20+ minutes a night, and at his age I don't think that is going to happen without serious problems arising.

All the other teams get firsts and we get Jan Rutta? Piker.

We would take Carter or Petry off your hands if either were willing and we got a 2024 first, return to be determined.

A first for Olofsson while taking Petry is a bit much.
Make it this years first, Buffalo retains 50% of Victor's AVV while adding both of their second round picks and the third round pick from LAK of this year.
That would make Olofsson's value less than a second while Buffalo gets to pick back to back in the first round, of the course the pick is top 10 protected.
