It won't cost this much to move Murray. The top available goalie this off season is Jarry and he's in no way better than Murray. He's injury prone and inconsistent. Murray could be an easy addition someone who needs a goalie can make. Will cost very little to acquire and he has only 1 year of term.

Sens need LD prospects almost as badly as Detroit. Easy decline.

Pittsburgh trade is brutal for Detroit.

Washington trade is interesting, but I don't think Washington can accept that trade any faster. Quite a package to move up in the draft to get a player who might be there at 17, or an equally good prospect might be there at 17.

The Wings traded Mantha for a reason. They don't want him back especially for that price.

I think he is super lazy and such a waste of great talent. But dealing with one season of that overpaid bum is worth moving up in the draft. As well as getting a d spot open for people who deserve to be there.

The Caps don't need LD, particularly ones with big, longterm contracts like Chiarot. They currently only have Sandin under contract, but Fehervary and Alexeyev are both RFAs and will be re-signed, so the left side is full up. I can't see them trading down from 8 either. They're trying to compete while Ovie's still around, so they need high-end prospects more than filling out their system's depth. If they do trade the #8 it'd be in a trade for an elite young forward along the lines of last year's DeBrincat trade. I like Perron, but he's not that guy.

value is fine but doesn't make sense for the caps, they need quality over quantity at this point

Exactly. Detroit and Ottawa are bad trade partners as both teams are set at LD.
