Los Angeles has 14 forwards on the roster right now under contract for 2023-2024, plus 4 RFAs (two of whom are Gabe Vilardi and Rasmus Kupari), plus prospects like Alex Turcotte and Sam Fa-gem-o who will get long and serious looks in training camp, so under what theory could the Kings possibly be interested in acquiring "forward depth" in the form of a guy who's starting to look very much like a bust? And as weak as the left side of our defense is, Eemil Viro isn't the sort of prospect that would move the needle from not giving up any more than Sean Walker for that package.

Washington is going to extend Wilson long term, but even if it comes to a trade, Washington would get more than a speculative pick and an ok prospect. Jeannot returned a 1st+2nd+Foote+, and Wilson is a markedly better player than Jeannot.
