I love ROR, but I don't think a 4 year deal is in the cards at this type of cap hit.

Devils dont have uncertain goaltending we already have our starters for next year Vanacek and Schmid, no need for cap dumps

Murray will either be on LTIR (wobbly noggen) or bought out, no reason to trade assets away to be rid of him, ROR won't require 24 million over 4 years , he'll likely land around 24/25 million over 6 years or 15/16 million over 4 years

The 2 million in the 2nd year makes a buyout a non starter. Need that money for Matthews and Willy

I have never been against Kerfoot, always thought he was a solid player. Nice to see he gets some love now. I would definitely bring him back for 2.5 or under but I bet he goes somewhere else for more money.
