I dont really watch the Habs all that much, but i cant help but think that they are a guy in a cheap suit. From far away they look presentable but once you get closer and start looking, he see the cheap materials, loose threads and hear the WOOSHING sounds every step they take in the suit.

That offer for Carter Hart is a royal joke, Detroit has been linked to him as well. And we'd blow away the doors on that offer.

feel like a hart offer starts with florida's first, primeau or montembeault whoever philly values more) and Kidney or similar prospect. and Habs most likely still have to add from there

I don't think Philly would part ways with Hart for less than 3x 1st valued assets.
Example : 2023 FLA's 1st, Barron or Harris, Roy or Kidney or Mesar or Beck or Heineman.

Moneypuck has Sam Montembault putting up better numbers nearly across the board than what Carter Hart did - both of them outplayed their expected numbers this year, but if I'm Montreal and I'm still rebuilding, I think giving up a guy like Xhekaj and #37OA for a more or less lateral move from Montembault to Hart isn't a great use of assets. I'd run it out there with Montembault/Allen next year, with Montembaul being 1A, and give him a chance to run with the ball.
