What’s the scouting report on Iskhakov & Salo? I believe Duclair will be one of the few players that the Panthers will be open to listening to offers on this off-season.

Salo is a career solid 3rd pairing guy.

Iskhanov is insanely talented but just needs to translate to his game on a consistent basis. Islanders would be dumb to do this. I want Duclair but much better to move a pick instead

Robin Salo: 6,2 190 lbs LHD. He has good agility especially at the blue line. Good at board battles. High IQ offensive player. Has a good wrist shot. Bad: Acceleration and stride needs improvement. Poor at Gap control. Projected to be a 6 - 7 dman at the NHL level but is stuck at the AHL level given the top 6 for the isles.
Ruslan Ishakov : 5,9 165lbs C: Small Center. Really good hands that can put puck in the back of the net. In the AHL put up 17G 34A for 51 points in 60GP Played in the AHL All Star Game

Would you still take the risk of Ishanov size over a proven NHLer I would not. Especially given Ishanov Concussion History

Pageau isn’t of much interest. He is solid 2 way guy who will win FOs who had an okay production year for his AAV. But we could re-sign staal and keep the picks.

Why give up anything for another team to take Bailey when he's easily bought out? Trading JGP just creates another hole that isn't easily filled. Justin Braun retired.

I would because our prospect pool is so weak that a player with his upside shouldnt be moved.

And id move him for a bigger player, but Duclair could be had for a 3rd + Salo id guess.

Pageau is consistent 40 point player....but at 5m, too much for this 3rd liner.
