Ok now this is funny. Just about every deal is swayed to Calgary by a 1st or 2 1sts

Detroit declines. Why would Colorado pay 2 1sts for rental Lindholm?

Lindholm, Ras, hanifin, Lindholm and Toffoli are all at least worth 1sts. Ras is elite and has term. Lindholm is the Hampus deal, Lindholm is a Selke finalist retained 50% and the flames traded a 1st to get Toffoli and hes been better sense he arrived

Why would Detroit decline? they have the pics and need a backup. 2 firsts for a rental 40% retained Selke finalist. They would be late 1sts. Would need to be a better package then what Vancouver got for Horvat and St.Louis got for O'Rielly

If you read the desc. it said any of the picks could be swapped with players drafted in that round in the last 2 years. I just dont know every teams prospect pools well enough

Because we're already paying a 40 point player over 5.5 mil AAV. His name is Andrew Copp.

Lindholm is still a rental. You'll get one 1st. Not 2 1sts or the equivalent of one (prospect). You're greedy and unrealistic. Vladar will get a 3rd. Not 2 of them. Why would any team pay that for a goalie when they can sign a UFA goalie? Is Vladar any better than Aidan Hill?

Flames get fleeced in the Mangiapane and Coleman deals.

Andersson is worth far kore than Lindholm was due to his term

Why would Calgary ever consider trading for Petersen with Wolf being NHL ready?

Canes would be likely to be more interested in that coleman or mangiapane deal than the Andersson one. But the deals are under valued so thats why.

COL isn’t trading 3 1st for one year of Lindholm because they can’t re-sign him.

This is beyond laughable, those trade hauls are absurd. Multiple 1sts for Noah Hanifin?!

Detroit passes, Only Calgary player we'd remotely have interest in, Would be Elias Lindholm as our 2C. We don't need Andrew Mangiapane.

I agree on the Rasmus, Coleman, Backlund and Mangiapanne valuations, but I think all others are a bit of an overpay.
I suspect the flames move a lindholm and a toffoli, but avoid the complete rebuild.

Avs won't likely be looking to Lindholm (much as he'd be ideal as their 2C) as they can't afford to re-sign him.

Look at the team ahead of him. it would be stupid for the flames to let wolf get shelled for a year. hide the prospects who havent had a season in the nhl in the ahl. let them win. bring them all up end of season or after trade deadline when you move more parts
