    Agreed, it’s not like $1.8m goalies with an above .900 sv every year they played in the past 5 years, are worth a napkin and a coke can like some on here make it out to be.

    For the Seattle trade... I mean, I want to argue he doesn't fit Seattle's current team composition, but not only is that a terrible argument to begin with, Seattle could just flip Debrincat right after for a way better return. All the teams that actually want the guy are willing to send waaaay more than that for him. Seattle accepts cuz they'd be stupid not to, but Ottawa doesn't send it in the first place.
