Canucks don't need Lafreniere. If they really really wanted, they could offersheet him

Boeser for Sissons feels more like a 1 for 1 type of deal.

Laf to me, lines up with JT and Beau while Barby, Sissons and Hog/Pod fill out the third line.

This will be a developmental season for us, so I don't think that we'll invest in an expensive veteran like Garland, even though the term is appealing. I think that we'd rather spend that $5 million on Ryan Graves.

Boeser’s contract is nothing the Preds want to deal with. Sissons has been great in a leadership role, and Boeser isn’t even worth a first. Rathbone brings no real value either tbh

We're cheap. I won't bore you with the details, but with Terry's and Zegras' new contracts, we'll be over $62 million in actual compensation with 6 slots open (one forward, backup goalie Lukas Dostal and 5 defensemen, including RFA Jamie Drysdale), so adding more than one $5 million player will probably exceed our internal salary limit, which is well short of the actual cap ceiling.

I’d rather have a consistent 50 plus point guy if I were the nucks and preds

At the price of a first and a very solid player for us…

I don’t think so
