    I assume Columbus accepts that.

Jeannot is already 25. I think any contract he signs pushes him into UFA. So there is no such thing as a bridge for him. (I could be wrong). Maybe 5 years, 2m a year?

1 bad idea what does Brisebois have to do to show picks hold little to no value to him currently?
2 no he doesn't. If that were going to happen it's already done.

He's definitely an upgrade to our B6. The question is whether we have roster space, even after moving Bems out.

I would think it's quite acceptable. Ross Colton posted a 56.1% faceoff percentage this year. While he only took 189 faceoffs, it's quite good and gives whoever the HC may be to let him play next to Texier on the third line and rotate Center duties.

Now there is a better B6 Center I would rather get, but Nico Sturm is constantly in a state of "he was really good, he's not available" and "I'll offer him for a 4th rounder" ACGM posts.

An upgrade, yes, but obviously significant enough for the FO to pay for him? Voronkov, Kuraly, and Foudy have the inside track for bottom-6 centers I'd think...but Colton has great underlying numbers and decent production. I'd make the trade, but even with Bemstrom moving out, I don't know if the FO sees enough value compared to what's already here or in the system.

Voronkov is starting in the AHL and Foudy is probably part of the package to Philly for Kevin Hayes. Torts likes Foudy and I consider him as good as gone. If anything, Colton is a good winger as well and can play on a Tex-Sillinger/Jenner-Colton line where all three are above average faceoff guys and excel at puck control. I expect more wingers to be moved as well.

With the refs tossing guys out of the faceoff dot for as little as smelling funny, every team pretty much needs 2 centers per line.

Don’t forget Tex is coming back as well. That Robinson-Kuraly-Texier line was arguably one of our best a few years back.
