I respect your efforts but this is downright awful. I mean you made the defense core considerably worse and gave up our best prospect for Frank Vatrano? Not to mention that ugly Arizona offer, you would have their front office rolling on the floor in laughter seeing that

Take Franky out and we still do not accept if you’re wondering how much interest we have on taking that Granlund contract

I don't think the Jets ate retaining and taking back a bad contract, in effect paying Rutta what Schmidt gets for a prospect that does nothing for them and a 2nd. They're better off keeping the far better player.

I don’t see how the defense is worse to be honest
Poulin personally I don’t think he’s anything more than a fourth line center and also Pickering is our best prospect and has more upside than poulin
Vatrano at least makes us harder to play against
I honestly wasn’t sure on the value for Karel V
His raw numbers are bad but so is the entire team but I’d totally give up more I was just throwing something out there…

I just had to send $ back to make it work but what would the ask from WIN be for Lowry and separately Schmidt?

Lowry most likely won't be traded and the ask would be more than he's worth.

Assuming the Jets want to clear Schmidt's salary probably a mid round pick would it.

Pretty sure Poulin is paying Granlunds way out of town. I get that's he's one of the top prospects in the Pens system, but the cupboard is getting pretty barren over in Pennsylvania.

I cannot see the Ducks taking this deal though, we don't want to touch Granlunds contract with a 39.5' pole.

Yea you’re right Pickering IS our best prospect I meant to say that Poulin is our most “touted” prospect, the org really wants to get him going at this point it feels.

Poulin is 22 and likely still 2 seasons away from being a full time NHL'er. He isn't that valuable.

That's a bad overpay for Schmidt. He's not good enough for top pairing minutes anymore.

Vatrano is one of our new GM's first acquisitions and has done all we asked of him and more than we expected. He'll only get better and he's inexpensive. Granlund is an expensive mistake and we might take him on if the compensation going both ways were draft picks, but we're not giving up Vatrano for him and half of your own fanbase thinks that Poulin is more likely to be a bust than to suddenly bust out. So this is an easy pass for us.

Ottawa accepts
Winnipeg overpay for player but its a retain so id say fair
Arizona wants more because their goalie if hes on the block is in a bidding war
I think Anaheim might want more to absorb the contract but its probably a good deal for both its only 2 more years and he come off the books to Pay McTavish, Mason giving them more power on negotiations with upcoming RFAs
LA player I'm not aware of him
