Description
I want Bert over hall. But I do understand it would be hard to move hall right now. Avs can bury landeskog contract for next season. So maybe a hall, McKinnon duo is enticing?
We have to inject youth at some point. It’s time.
Lohrei and macdermid split. But we need to get tougher, so I like having him around.

Avs probably use that Landy cap-space to secure that 2C that they've been missing.

That Bertuzzi contract is going to look ugly in years 4, 5, and 6. There is a reason why one of the smartest GM's in the league chose to trade him rather than re-sign him long term. His style of play and injury history (knees and back/neck) are going to mean a quick fall from peak.

...and if you think Bertuzzi is going to take a discount to stay on a good team apparently you didn't see that he skipped games in Canada on his team rather than take a vaccine.

Well the option is keep hall. And let Bert walk.
Or try and trade hall to make room for Bert. I don’t think there’s a realistic way to have both guys.
I’m honestly fine either way. I just think hall has a week down low game.

CHI not going to be giving up draft capital like that and particularly in the 1 position we have a logjam at.

Would need to entice us to take his contract and personally I don't think he's that bad, though wasn't he scratched for a game in the playoffs?

Toughness isn't gonna change much here especially if you acquire ineffective players. Bad contract for Wood, I believe you haven't watched him recently if you gave him this deal. Hall's trade also doesn't work. MacDermid is an AHLer and since the Bruins don't have a 1st round pick, it's not like he would help get a better one.

Some team will give you a pick for Gryz but it won't be the Hawks

No one wants Reilly and not worth giving up a pick for him... buy him out instead.

Wood/McDermaid are not great adds to this team. Gotta go young on the 4th line and see what Beecher/McLaughlin/Lauko/Merkulov have - I think AJ Greer could also improve with some more consistent minutes.

I wouldn't move Hall, but if they do they are getting a better return than that... where did Merkley go on this roster?

Bruins have to give serious consideration to trading Ullmark and letting Swayman be the guy with some cheaper goalie depth.

Freddy, Bert, and Clifton get more $

That COL trade is really bad for BOS, you can fetch a much better return than that

More likely they move Ullmark than Hall
