Description

The biggest difficulty is changing core. Matthews showed leadership at the end with Woll and the odds with winning this trade. Slim, he will most likely resign and needs too. Marner is tradeable but to come out on a winning end is slim. Tavares with his cap is hard to trade but still worth his trade. Let's see how the wing experiment goes again. Nylander is the best trade bait but again to win this trade is very difficult.
The hope is to trade the final year of Murray is to show a 1 year to a team in need with a prospect for a low end pick.
This is not a big difference for the leafs but the hope is to fire Keefe and maybe go for Gallant.
Keefe is a good coach but he reached his peak with the leafs. He needs to be let go for his own growth as a coach. The leafs need a new coach to try his hand at motivating and trying new lines.

Buffalo pass, especially since Murray decline deal in Buffalo not too long ago, I don't see Adams trying to trade for him again.

Bertuzzi is not taking a pay cut, come on. He wants a 7 or 8 year deal. That is the reason he did not sign with Wings, Yzerman would not give a big raise and that kind of term,
