I would love to know how a later 1st and a contract dump is worth a former top 10 pick who just took major steps in his game this year. Why would the Flyers even think about that offer?

Jarnkrok scored 20 goals this year which is comparable to a player who only had 1 good season. Tippet isn't really a defensive threat and he only played well for 1 season which is why his worth isn't any higher. Jarnkrok isn't a bad player. he's also good defensively which is what the Flyers lack. Also, the Flyers are in a rebuild.

This trade is terrible and ur reasons are also terrible. “Isn’t a defensive threat” is hilarious to say about a dude who has a cannon and is finally coming into his true self in the NHL and absolutely tore it up in the AHL. If you don’t watch the Flyers just say that. The flyers want to have young guys and stack picks so yeah let’s take on a 31 year old lol that’s smart! Good thinking! Tippett is worth more than that garbage deal
