WPG says... "Need more". A 1B goalie and a 1st round pick at 28 is only okay. Try again. Helly is going to command a good 1B, top 14 pick and a prospect.

Samsonov and the 28th overall pick isn't getting Connor Hellebuyck. Buffalo would offer the 13th overall pick UPL and another piece for Helly.

Im not sure a rental goalie pulls that down. Even one as good as hellebuyk.

That's the problem. The Jets will trade Helle to a team where he wants to extend if traded, you pi push the price up. So, if you only want Hellebuyck as a rental, your price still needs to beat thuse offers. Which this one doesn't.

Yet reportedly Buffalo and New Jersey both have interest in Hellebuyck according to Russo.

That's the problem. The Jets will trade Helle to a team where he wants to extend if traded, to push the price up. So, if you only want Hellebuyck as a rental, your price still needs to beat those offers. Which this one doesn't.

I dislike the laffs and am NOT a fan of Marner, but you are so right. That's a "Hang up the phone on the HABS and tell them to NEVER call back" type of offer. Again, I don't like Marner, but he's worth a LOT more than that.
