Kansas City would be the absolute last place Arizona would relocate to

Sounding like a strong relocation candidate could be Salt Lake City.

why would utah get a hockey team. At least in KC it gets cold and they could have a rivalry with Blues or Hawks

Would do a 2024 1st and a prospect maybe for Schmaltz. Not sure i'd give up the 14OA this year.

Because the Northwest region is becoming a hot bed for hockey. Seattle is a prime example. Plus Salt Lake City is trying to get the 2030 Winter Olympics.

SLC seems to be the rumored favorite rn and they'll probably be called the Utah Coyotes. Fun fact: Coyotes can be found all over North America and are typically most common in TX, UT, AZ and such.

Midwest love sports and support them well. Hawks, CBJ, and Blues all had strong attendance numbers and support despite having awful and down years. KC has 1 sports team that would barely interfere or with their games. Has an NHL ready arena in a good location. Would remain in the Western Conference. Finding an owner seems like the only hurdle.

It gets just as cold, if not colder, in Salt Lake City. And Salt Lake City is as close to Denver and Vegas as Kansas City is to Chicago.

I agree it would go to Kansas City over Salt Lake - but mainly due to population
