So there’s this thing teams can do in the league.. it’s called signing a player to an extension. & the Islanders would have a year to figure it out. I’d think they could figure something out. Geez people seem to forget this all the damn time.

last year at this time i proposed the same trade the isles did for horvat for tkachuk but added a 2nd round pick and bode wilde and everyone said it was a gross overpay, now looking back that would have been a ,much better trade to make

i still think id do it, maybe less picks but dobson looked lost and overpaid and who knows what wahlstrom is he has been a disappointment so far
