I don’t know why I bothered responding. No one ever listens.

Jenner signed his extension with the intention of remaining in Columbus as its captain. He has no interest in leaving, nor does the team have any interest in trading it’s only player who can even attempt to play 1c. Sam Girard doesn’t move that needle one bit.

If you get Jenner signing Compher is pointless. Giving Compher $5M, which somebody will do, is insane.

Not as much as Jenner is needed in Columbus. They need their 1c and team captain a lot more then a 2nd pair LHD. This is an easy decline for Columbus at least until they know if Carlsson or Fantilli or Smith can be the 1c on the team.
