This would be an awful move by Columbus imo though I suppose if they could extend Lindholm and Hanifin it wouldn't be that bad considering all the other young talent they have and other guys signed.

It's from a Flames mailbag at The Athletic. Julian McKenzie consulted Portzline, who gave us the most ridiculous proposal.

Because of that and a youtube video we are also seeing people saying Vancouver should trade JT Miller for the 3OA too. When you make stupid proposals like that all it does is encourage others for their own copium deals. I don't think people realize this isn't the NFL and picks this high, especially this year, comes at a premium and not a cap dump option. There is legit only one person in the market right now that could move that pick but he will come with a 13.5x5 cost...minimum. The late first from the kings is in play but I wish Portzline didn't open the box for us to see all these ridiculous trade proposals and when we tell them it is they will just say something like "LOL OHIO SUPPRISED YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT HOCKEY IS" or some dumb **** like that.

Have said it before but hockey scribes come up with some of the most ridiculous trade ideas, sometimes they're probably just trying to create some clicks but more often then not I think they really think it's a trade that makes sense.
