Let me get this straight. Shane pinto who's a year older, who's failed to play a full NHL season until this past one in which he put up less points than Laf IN MORE ICE TIME. has more value than laf?
Maybe the definition of the word more has changed? More value usually implies theres SOME indication that one thing is better than the others, but Pinto has a major injury history, has failed to play consistently until now, AND when he did, he was less valuable.

Vatrano deal looks interesting if you drop Jones & Sykora and the 6th.

Laf deal is pretty funny. Maybe something like a retained Batherson would be the only thing remotely in the ballpark.

That Keller trade is laughably bad.

Replace Trochek and Vesey with Lafreniere and Schneider. And you still have to convince Goodrow to waive for Phoenix (he wont).

This started awful firstly with the signings. Graves' market will demand 4+ years at 4.5+ mill, Miller will be around 4.5 mil, Kane is gonna sign a 3 year 5.75 AAV contract (just don't know which team yet), motte will be more than a mil, and finally the keller trade. This might be the most laughable trade i've seen in a hot minute. The Coyotes want to get young, yet they trade their star player for three players 29-30 years old and just this years first round pick at #23. This would be fantasy type of stuff to happen...

If they did, Pinto still wouldn't sign for $1.5M.
He was 4th among rookies for goals, 3rd for EVS goals.
He was 52.1% in FOW (2nd among rookies taking 115 FO or more, and 34th in the NHL among pivots taking 800 or more FO)
Sure, he's a year older than Lafreniere but Laf has had 3 seasons in the NHL and has yet to hit 20g. Pinto did it in his first year.
