Neither of those trades are good enough to pull those players, unless for some reason Chevy loves Elvis, or Allvin loves Sillinger/Carlsson.

Don't mind the Bemstrom deal though. It's similar to the Harrington TOR/CBJ trade, which worked out well for both teams.

They were pretty great when they made the playoffs 5 of 6 years, lost to the eventual cup champs 4 of those years, swept the president’s trophy winning TBL, and were consistently one of the toughest teams to play against.

In that era they had a vezina caliber goalie and solid center depth. That’s what they need to find to get back to that level.

How much more do you think? Be realistic. They are already giving a future 1C, a future top-6 C, and a physical 4-5 dman and some other depth pieces.

Maybe another D prospect or a future 1st or 2nd?

Yeah, I think the consensus on this website is that Elias will cost us 2 of 3OA/Kent/Jiricek. Will be hard to give up that much for Elias IMO.
