This is absolutely atrocious for Washington. Wilson isn't going anywhere unless the offer is really worth while. Not a couple future thirds and a cap dump

Why is NSH giving up all that for a very expensive Devin Cooley replacement?

Flyers are shopping for picks and prospects since they are rebuilding. If they want Marner, they'll wait til he hits free agency in 2 years.

I mean at least y'all get a usable player back, that Wilson trade has to be worse lol. But yes the Nylander trade is atrocious too.

Welcome to CapFriendly.

As you get experience, you'll learn that these trade values are way out of whack -- way, WAY out of whack -- and unrelated to reality. Among other things, you'll learn that a player's value isn't determined solely by how well he performs in a single year; time has enormous value. For example, there is no way that Los Angeles would trade its number two center for the next four seasons for one season of William Nylander, never mind the two high draft picks. And hopefully, you'll learn that a player's value isn't determined solely by how many points he scores, because I guarantee you, we wouldn't trade TWO seasons of Phillip Danault for one season of William Nylander.

You won't get a first-round draft pick for Matt Murray; you won't even get a third for him -- you'll have to give away something of significant value to get rid of him.

Jake Muzzin's contract isn't worth anything, nor is his on-ice value (if he's able to play at all, that is) worth anything. And Tom Wilson would take a lot more than a first-round draft pick to acquire even if Washington wanted to get rid of him, which they don't.

Dimitri Orlov turns 32 in the summer, so this is probably his last chance to get really good money. He won't be signing a one-year deal.

Don't be discouraged. A lot of us struggled at the beginning. Keep trying!

Buddy it’s for fun lmfao. Get a life and stop acting like you’re a real GM. Go outside, talk to some people and maybe you can find some friends. I hope you enjoyed commenting **** like this, because if this is all you have in life I feel very sorry for you. People like you who take this way too seriously make me feel much better about myself. Nerd lol
