  1. Holtz, Alexander
Additional Details:
With Andrew Brunette gone, Holtz has probably lost his biggest advocate inside the organization. One of the reasons Alex stayed so long with NHL club last season were his one-on-one sessions with the coach, which delayed his return to Utica. I don’t think Brunette’s departure makes Holtz trade likely…but probably a bit more plausible than it was a few days ago.

(Don’t know about Batherson’s availability…I just picked a guy).

Nah we're not just gonna throw away Holtz like that. He'll play.

I think chances of a Holtz trade are very small. But were smaller before Brunette’s departure.

There's an open top 9 spot now on the wing with Tatar going to FA (barring a re-sign). There's a good chance Holtz plays in Newark this season.

I'd rather play Holtz top 6 tbh.

That deal does nothing for Seattle. Have plenty of organizational depth on the wing as well as draft capital.

Nashville isnt trading you their only center they have that cracked a 50 point/season pace for a more expensive winger when they have alot of wingers already in their prospect pool. Nashville has serious questions at C.

Agree...he will likely be on roster, in offensive role.

I just think he gets a smidgen less untouchable with Brunette's departure.

Goal-scoring development is rarely linear. Usually comes up step-changes.

He could bust out with 25 next year.

Sharangovich is a natural center...we moved to wing since we had logjam at C.

(not great at faceoffs, but his defense is better in middle)

Lol so he is kindof like Novak in that way. Novak is bad at faceoffs.

Devils have a combination of centers that fall into 2 categories.
Horrendous: Hughes, Mercer, Yegor, Boqvist
Elite: Hischier, Haula, Mcleod

Just to check, you mean elite / horrendous in regards to faceoffs and not overall ability?

Reminds me of that Ranger fan that still clings to Kakko > Hughes!

(I got that it was about faceoffs)
