It's the tampa 1st rd not the hawks one, so its a terrible trade for the nucks instead lmao

Yeah that nucks trade is rough for them, people forget Boeser has put together multiple years where he is a 40 goal 80 point pace type guy. That definitely isn't a cap dump any way you put it so they definitely aren't giving up the first just to get rid of him

Huh? They aren't trading the Hawks 1st rounder, they're trading TBs; they'd still have their own pick but they'd be taking Boeser off the Canucks hands. Still, the Canucks would be trading back from 11 to 19 and would only be picking up the 44OA; could be worth it for VAN to be rid of Boeser's contract.

I think the Avs might actually be interested in a trade like that - they really need talent in the pipeline and there isn't much of a difference between 27 and 33 OA. That being said, they are likely more interested in using that pick to plug holes now rather than beefing up a farm system they don't even use very well.

That's a lotta trades. Off the top, don't think Caleb, Mitchell or Katchouk bring back 3rd's or 4th's. Vancouver might do that deal w/ Garland in place of Boeser. Probably takes #67 too to get Boeser. And can't see Pens dropping back more than a full round to shed Granny. The value is ok. Just don't think Pens do it.

I think Avs definitely do this. At the very least they get more ammo for other trades now.

I wonder if something around Boeser + Myers + trade down for Murphy could work

Found Brock boeser's burner account. "40 goal 80 point" from a guy who never scored 30 goals or 60 points lmao keep him.

True enough on having more assets but the 1st is always more desirable. It's interesting to think about and I'm sure it's something in consideration for C-Mac.
