Buffalo will likely say this cost too much for Gibson

You actually think he said that? When was the last time any insider got anything correct for us?

Buf says no, Gibson hasn’t shown to be a good goalie over the last few seasons. not saying he can’t turn it around, teams won’t be giving up this many assets (some of quality) given the risk

Forget Gibson, I wouldn’t even trade Luukkonen for him alone never mind all the other assets you think you’ll get.

If Gibson wanted to go, and wanted to go to Buffalo, I would accept that offer for him (minus the window-dressing fourth). But as shown by the preceding comments, he'd be lost on the Buffalo fanbase.

Buffalo isn't a fit for Gibson... Why trade assets for a goalie who Levi may be better than by next April? They can just sign a guy.

Seems like there's lots of fans that think 13oa is in play for their goalie. Weird.

The logic may be that Levi will start in the AHL. Adams doesn't like to rush young players. In first season Levi will be in the AHL, he could be a backup to Buffalo in season two, he could be a starter with Gibson in season three, and we don't know what Gibson will look like three years from now.
