This post ONLY includes trades I have seen posters from other teams make involving my Penguins 🐧
Ngl it’s hard to find trades including some of our players
The challenge is to make a complete team using only other fans trades and no FA signings

Toronto isn’t trading 2 of their 6 signed NHL dMen for little to nothing. Fan boys, gonna be fan boys, but these deals aren’t happening in the real world. Brodie only gets dealt if he is replaced by an even better NHL dman. Timmins does not get dealt — young RHD that showed very well and is signed to an affordable deal.

Yeah I can't understand the people who think our best DfD is worthless suddenly.

Like at least Timmins hasn't gotten a huge repertoire to build his perceived value with the fans, but the Brodie hate is insane. His value is enormous and anyone saying otherwise is outing themselves as an idiot

No reason to dump Timmins for nothing. Justin Holl will fit nicely in that spot for Pittsburgh.

I read the description. You saw these from other teams posts. OK.

Still can't do that Hawks trade. Let's remove Garland from the trade. Going from #19 to #14 is ~60 points (link below and this is one of the most aggressive websites I know...better for PIT in this situation). Just giving Pick #51 alone would cover that jump up 5 spots. then CHI adds a 3rd? AND takes on Granlund?!?! Maybe you saw a post from Newman23 where CHI traded the BOS 1st #28 for #14....Ok THAT would make sense. I'd be good with that.

Only advanced to the second round so Matthews and the gang have to pay the price for the Leafs not winning a cup for over 56 years. People forget it’s not their fault. They have been here for 7 years. Prior to that the Leafs missed the playoffs 10 out of 11 seasons and they never won a round for 19 years. Well, Matthews, Marner, Nylander and Tavares have made the playoffs each of their 7 years here. They advanced as far or further than all but 4 teams this year. I get it, there is no parade and shouldn’t be but Leaf fans shouldn’t be so stupid as to want to send all their players packing.

Look at the AVs, Tampa, Pittsburg, LA and Chicago — none traded their best players before winning a cup. It took Ovi 13 years, Stamkos 12, and Mackinnon 9. Go back to the days of Yzerman and Sakic and its the same. Patience and adding to the core is waht’s needed.

The Boqvist deal is intriguing but it would require a bit more from Pittsburgh. The counter to this would be Petry, POJ, and a conditional 2nd. If the Pittsburgh makes the playoffs it is a 2nd, if they advance to round 2or more it becomes a 1st, if they fail to make the playoffs it becomes a 3rd. All picks would be 2024.

Ottawa will give you DeBrincat for an offer that beats Hendrix Lapierre, #40 overall in 2023 and Washington's 1st in 2024.

And DeBrincat is not signing that.

Lol. Petry and Joseph for Boqvist makes no sense, but Pettersson for him REALLY makes no sense.

Roslovic can very likely fetch a 2nd with 50% retention. A 3rd with no retention is 100% fair.

Boqvist is worth a late first based on comps. Petry has negative value to the jackets and POJ has value but the jackets need a veteran top 4 LD. Doubt the jackets would take petry and POJ for free honestly just doesn’t fit their needs

I didn’t think TOR would give them up for cheap either but I mean hey, some fans just want to give them away lol 😂

That could be it yeah… I would make the deal even with that big a trade down to the bottom of the 1st round to recoup extra picks

A very rational and logical response. Appreciate it! Those are hard to find most days!
High key I would probably accept that trade!
