If Flames are trading Hanifin we would want Boqvist not Bean

In my opinion Flames accept, I've been following Bean for a while and I'd say he's a promising D-man who does a lot of things right, plus he's from Calgary

The problem is he's only 1 year younger than Hanifin, IMO if Calgary is selling Hanifin it is either for an immediate top 6 upgrade or to sell for futures. Trading Hanifin for Bean just feels like downgrading and pushing problem down the road

Bruins take that in a heartbeat but it's very likely Columbus makes Coyle's No Trade List. Same thing with Hanafin, though this trade is a bit too many meh pieces. Bean and the #3 pick gets it done. And as a Bs fan, Coyle should not be a 1C on any team

Personally I don't make a deal with Columbus unless Sillinger is coming back.

Practically every trade proposal is met with It'll take KJ, Jiricek, Marchenko, Sillinger, or 3 OA or some combination of them to get a deal done. This site is stupid af.

People don’t understand that these 2 are rentals. Rentals don’t hold a ton of value to rebuilding teams…

Everyone on here asks for 3OA…there are some issues with these proposals. Everyone keeps saying in Hanifin and Lindholm trades they will get 3OA from us bc they extend. Problem is they can’t extend until July 1. So which means the Jackets would be dealing a premium to Calgary for Jarmo to have to do all the negotiating??? It can’t happen that way. If the trade were to occur it would have to happen before the draft as a pure rental or after the draft which means any picks involved would be 2024 or further out. This goes for all teams though.
