Crazy assumption when Hanifan can sign with 32 teams next summer. Flames signed UFAs Markstrom, Tanev, Kadri, Coleman and didn't have to give up anything for them, but Flamers get rewarded heavily for one year of Hanifan?

I think if they move him they should be able to get at least a mid round pick for him. But I personally think we should keep him and move Boeser instead

He definitely could want to test the market but I don’t think it’s that crazy to think he’d extend. Penguins (assuming a few moves) are still a good team and generally regarded as a good organization. He’d probably play top pair with a hall of famer. They’ve got a good amount of space to pay him what he wants. And you’d presumably feel him out before making the trade.

Jackets decline. They can get a better offer than that for Peeke and Roslovic. If not, then they should just keep them.
