The old bait-and-switch with the title eh?

How about Gally for OEL straight up?

Too much for PLD imo. I would wait and see who we get at 5th OA. If we don't draft Reinbacher or Michkov, then I think it is worth to just wait till next years FA to sign him

My thoughts exactly. On the other hand, if Winnipeg rejects this and Montreal decides to 'risk it' and wait until free agency, do you see Winnipeg executing on a better offer?

Xhekaj is nothing special in the slightest, but he probably cancels out the Hoffman cap dump. Beck and a late 1st is a fine offer for PLD. UFA PLD's contract is going to start with a 9.

Prospect, a pretty darn good one

AHL D, bro your buggin', He a solid #4-5 D.

Cap Dump, He got a year left and we have a lot of cap

MTL should just wait it out, and if he ends up not being a Habs, no problem. I'd trade Kidney and Dvorak with the first, but not both Beck and Xhekaj

Then Habs don't go for Dubois, simple as that. I really don't like the thought of signing Dubois to a Zuki contract anyways, since we have Slaf and 5th OA that will both need that type of money.

I don't think you'll have to worry about slaf needing big money anytime soon. He's gonna get a cheap bridge deal for 3 years

Xhekaj is NOT a top 4 dman in any world bro. This is the problem with montreal fans

Apparently Matheson is top pairing quality, Guhle, savard, harris, barron, and xhekaj are top 4 quality, kovacevic and edmundson also are valuable, and yet the forwards bad numbers are explained by "the defense sucks"

I'm saying he gets 40 points next year, 55 the following year, and Habs give him 8 years. If were lucky, we get him under 7, but still doesn't really save cap to sign PLD to Suzuki deal or higher

IDK if you know what potential means. Matheson is a good #2 D, Guhle has top pair potential while currently being a top 4 D, and Harris, Barron, Xhekaj has top 4 D potential while being #4-7 Ds. No one said Kovy and Eddy have more than 4th rd value, which is not really value at all. Any sain person would say that the bad numbers last year correspond which the outrageous number of injuries we had. Bro, you clearly haven't done your research, so stop trolling, and I know you are a Habs troller, it's pretty obvious

J. Hughes did something similar. Slaf is full of talent. Not optimistic at all, pretty much in the lines of realism

You didn't say potential. You claimed Xhekaj is a 4-5 right now
Matheson is a 2-3.
Guhle is a 5 right now. (he got absolutely caved in all year) (with low end 2 potential tops)
Harris is a 4 with not much more upside than that
Barron is a 6-7 (again also got caved in) with 4-5 potential
Xhekaj is a 7-8 who will be nothing more than a bottom pair guy.
Eddy (who montreal ACGMs have been trading for 1st or 2nds since december) is a 6-7

WPG says NO TY to Hoffman's contract. WPG "SHOULD" be rebuilding and if their useless GM "Chevytakestoomanydaysoff" has any shred of intellect hidden far below the surface, that is his plan.

Beck... okay. Seems like he has potential. Wifi is a good depth D that can help the Jets in the physical areas, the FLA pick is going to be pretty weak, but Hoffman is yours. Keep him. You deserve him.

every single player with a similar draft profile to Jack Hughes draft profile has turned into a star. And the issues are not remotely the same.

4-5 d on the habs doesnt mean 4-5 d anywhere else, hes a cap dump to any team not named montreal

The problem with bad teams is they play young players in roles. They see a 22 year old playing a significant role (where he's getting caved in every single shift), and think that translates into him becoming a legit player at a role higher than thagt

The fact that he performed well as a third-pair guy in MTL should show that he is performing better than a lot of other third-pair guys, since MTL are so bad and they played against stronger competition than themselves

In the playoffs it's that kind of player that you need

But not everyone knows about what it takes in the playoffs
