Description

Goalies historically never fetch huge returns getting the 14th pick is a huge haul and Petry was not as bad as people make him out to be last year. Old but still has some wear on the tires and gives this team a much needed vetern prescence.

While you're right that goalies might not get the return people think they will - including Petry in that trade makes sure it never happens.

And that VAN trade is very bad for the Pens

Why do the Jets want Jeff Petry? I know pens fans think players in their mid 30s are fine, but the rest of us know about aging curves. If the Jets are trading Hellebuyck they aren't in win-now mode.

The Jets would actually have some use for Granlund. He certainly isn't enough, but it's better than Petry

I'm pissed jets fan now. Petry is 35 bro and has trade protection so why would he waive to go to the team that appears on 95%+ of trade protection. Not enough and not realistic in the slightest
