Broberg has a lot more value than all the other prospects you listed. Edmonton would hang up on you on that one.

          It doesn’t I’m afraid.
Bahl has played himself into a long term role as the Devils 3LHD going forward. At the same time, the Devils have been routinely scratching Sharangovich whom is pretty much at the same exact level as Colton.
Between the depth the Devils have at forward andthe strength of their forward prospect pipeline trading Bahl for Colton wouldn’t achieve anything at all for the Devils.
From the Devils perspective, Kevin Bahl is an order of magnitude more important than trading him for Colton.

Bahl you mean? At 3LHD. Long term D corps will look something like:
          Hughes - Nemec
          Siegenthaler - Hamilton
          Bahl - Marino

I think this D corps may become the strongest one ever seen in the cap era.

Also, the Devils do have Casey and Vilèn as intriguing defensive prospects to maybe make Marino surplus to requirements in 2-3 years.

As for 23-24 I’d want the Devils to go:
          Siegenthaler - Hamilton
          Hughes - Marino
          Bahl - Walsh

Nemec in the A as to preserve one more year of ELC, big difference to pay him 900k instead of 8-9m in the 26-27 season.
Wqrrior, Dekes, Steven_Stamkos and 2 others liked this.

Not to mention a couple of prospects knocking on the door this upcoming yr. I want Ross but not at the expense of D which will probably take a step back with Severson and Graves leaving

Fine but that's what it takes to get the deal done I believe. Honestly I hope they sign Colton and play him 17-19 mpg with Stamkos and Cirelli. They do that he's a 30-35 goal 55-65 point guy

Make it Poulin instead of the 2 and TB adds Chicago 4 next year
