Two late 1st Round Picks, a good (not great) prospect, a couple of depth players, and future 2nd round picks isn't close to enough for Chicago to give up Bedard and move down 9 spots in the draft.

Even in fantasyland, any deal for #1 would include Kyrou or Thomas

Hawks obviously decline. Best of luck w/ Anaheim.

You are not even close in value for #1 pick in a normal year let alone this year.

If the situations were reversed, would you trade the pick to the Hawks regardless of the package?

Even still Kyrou and Thomas don't move the needle because the Hawks literally have no one to play with them. They are looking for high end talent for the rebuild.

So add 2024, 25, 26 1sts... then maybe KD would think about it... just cause he could offer Anaheim a bunch of picks for #2.

It would need to include Kyrou AND Thomas and everything above and even then, the Hawks would say no…

I am acting as though the Hawks are not in the position to be adding a player like Kyrou at this point in their rebuild. They have just finished tearing things down and they are at the bottom. The goal is to build up stock in young high-end players and then in a couple years accent that with trades/FA signings of established NHL players.
