What Id Like to See Hopefully Realistic

Description
Trades
I tried to mix in picks along with young NHLers. Giving those young guys time to play in the rebuilding years to see how they will fit into the future. Using most of the picks this year to spread around the entire prospect pool, for 7 and 11 I would like to take Michkov and Benson. Both have been slipping in mocks I've seen so it does not seem too outlandish to hope for that. OEL contract will be up or almost up once team is ready to compete again, taking him on to jump up makes a lot of sense to me.

Signings
Frost giving more than projected to get a couple of years, same with York to try and stagger when their next contract would come up. Eller comes on a higher rental contract for veteran leadership that was lost in the trades and can be moved at the deadline. Deadline moves would also hopefully include Walker and Yamamoto (unless Yamamoto has a huge breakout and it makes more sense to keep)

Coots and Atkinson I'm hoping can play in between 45-60 games this year, so depth is going to be needed for the games they miss. Coots hopefully can stay as the leader for the young guys throughout the rebuild and Atkinson can hopefully have a decent season on the comeback and be flipped next offseason.

First time trying one of these so if its very outlandish I apologize, also some of the trade ideas seem chalky to me but that also make a lot of sense based on the rumors going around atm.

Oilers trade is an overpay.
With the Canucks trade, I'd 100% take that.

Holloway is untouchable not to mention quite an overpay for no retention

I have been seeing a lot of large overpays on TK. That is almost like four first round picks for one. Jack Eichel's trade return would be almost equivalent (given Tuch's value at the time)

We don’t want Yammo or Ceci they are just cap dumps lol I would do TK for 1st Holloway and Broberg and if you think that’s an overpay ur gonna be upset when u see the trade lol

Does Robertson even hold any value? Honestly, the guy is an essentially a bust due to his injuries. I’d say 1st and 3rd gets you Laughton though… keep Mr. Glass

If I am the Oil I don't move Ceci. And Yammo would be a cap dump to Philly, since they aren't going to be competitive. I would trade Yammo for a late round pick or buyout before Looking to trade assets for a dump. Oil would need Philly or a third party to retain upwards of $2M or $3M for that to even work, which gets way to expensive for my liking. I would also rather send Bourgault than Holloway personally.

There is no chance the Flyers get Holloway, Broberg, and a 2024 1st rounder for TK. Edmonton needs Holloway or guys on the ELC for the cap to work. Can't move out everyone just to improve their 2nd line.

The Flyers already turned down late 1sts for Laughton they likely want another smaller pick or prospect. The articles are there, literally just do some research

Even with retention, Seattle likely has zero interest in taking DeAngelo off your hands, and certainly not for the draft capital suggested.

CBJ Decline. No need to overpay for Hayes. A 3rd in 2024 alone is enough for Hayes with 30% retained.

You seem you know everything but you don’t. They would run away and take that deal. 2 firsts and 50/50 high or low potential prospect. Nicky is a very good prospect he may need a new team just to break out

Where do you see two 1sts for Laughton? I see one 1st a 3rd and an always injured prospect that we have plenty of
